Trip Home and some pics.

Well, I am home.

Yesterday, we got up early and headed home.

We decided to highway it as far as we could, so today would be easy.
Cleveland OH,  Erie PA., Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse....
700 KM later, we were in Pulaski NY.
Kind of a boring ride, by the end...and just long.

Pulaski is a resort town south of Watertown.
Pretty and clean.
As it was a Sunday night, it was really quiet...not much to say about it.
Had some pizza in an Italian place.

And today we rode home through Watertown.
No problems at the border...just rained for the last hour or so.

I can't complain...we stayed dry the whole trip, somehow.

It seems that I did not take a whole lot of exciting pics.
Here are a few, anyways..

                                                               Brent's Ohio Helmet

                                                            Brent's sissy bar well protected

                                                               View on Lake Erie

                                                            Me, in part rain gear.

Brent looking out over Lake Erie

                                                            Walkin around in Sandusky

                                                                  More.... walkin around.

As you can tell, this trip was more about riding, and less about stopping and looking around.
Great scenery, but not spectacular, like New Hampshire or Vermont.
The riding was great...2,200 km's worth.
Can't complain about lack of riding.

Met a lot of really nice folks.
We always do, wherever we go.

That's it for tonight...I am kinda beat.
I will come up with more details later in the week.

Ohio day 2

We got a break in the weather yesterday morning and went to Sandusky.

The waterfront was really something to see.
A huge old school amusement park in the distance.
Saw a water snake swimming too.

The events down at the Harley dealer were ok but not that amazing...we checked everythinh out and left.

We did get a great ride in out in the country. Farms, forests,  nice homes.

Ohio is a pretty state.

And did I mention that our motel was right next to a Mexican restaurant ?
Had a lunch and a dinner there.
Food was truly amazing, and cheap as hell.

And we managed to not get rained on....considering the crappy forecast we woke up to...quite a bit of luck !
